There sure are a lot of "firsts" happening around here!

We had a lot of firsts today!!! The Tooth Fairy came to our house last night! Johnny woke up at 4am and found his goods!!! I kid you not he was jumping up and down and telling us the Tooth Fairy came!!! Man I love sharing a room with Johnny! lol!!! Anyways here is his new smile minus his body tooth!!! And his goods he got from the Tooth Fairy!

Johnny lost his first tooth this morning! We were brushing his teeth and I heard a pop! I told him to spit out whatever was in his mouth because I knew his tooth had come out!!! With it being soo little I didn't want him to swallow it! Out it came along with toothpaste, saliva and blood! I was afraid he was going to freak when he saw the blood, but he saw it as pretty cool!!! So we are putting it in his tooth fairy pillow and the Tooth Fairy is bringing him 3 gold dollar coins in the morning! Johnny is more into coins than dollars because he can put them in his piggy bank!!!

I can't believe how old my little guy is getting! He already has another one loose! Oh my!!!

First Day At Work...

Today was Johnny's first day of work!! ha! Actually The first time he got to go to work with Daddy!!! He was soo excited!! I called him while he was at the dealership and asked for John Crook. He answered it was too cute! When they got home Johnny had a full folder full of paperwork. He and Kev had colored all day!!! CUte!!

Look how opposite my boys are!!! Johnny got buzzed last night! This is the first and the last buzz he will get this year!!! I already miss his hair! :(Jaxi and his wild curls!!! 2 years, almost 3 months old and still hasn't had a haircut...

Not to much going on today. Kevin and I are going to go get our basement furniture after we take Johnny to school. But other than that I really want to go print some pictures and scrapbook!!! I haven't scrapbooked in forever it feels like!!!

Totally a crazy day!!! I had a ton of fun but I am whooped!!! Here's the run down! Got up at the crack of dawn....7:30am!!! WTH are my children waking up this early?!?!?! Btw this is way early for us!!! We are a family that likes to sleep in!!! Anyways, headed to the gym early! Felt good after having Sat & Sun off. Got home and got Johnny ready for school. After dropping Johnny at school I headed over tot he house to meet with out trim carpenter! The deck is sooo coming along!!! I met with him because I wanted to talk to him about building some more custom furniture!!! I am soooo excited about this!!! He is going to build me a dining room table and a side board table for my dishes! Then I am going to have him build our master bedroom furniture!!! His work is amazing!!! I can't wait to see him get started!!! After the house I had to go to FedEx (had an Etsy sale over the weekend!!! :) woohoo) Headed to Walgreens for some candy for part of a gift for our room mom!!! Headed to Home Depot to get some empty paint cans! And then headed home to meet with Kevin's Mom and her cousin Polly. Polly wanted to talk to me about making a scrapbook for her daughter's wedding. It's going to be a complete country wedding so that should be fun to make!!! They have some really fun country stuff but I've never really had a reason to use it and now I do!!! FUN!!! While I was meeting with them I was putting together my gift for our room mom!!! I altered a quart sized paint tin and filled it with chocolates!! Then Jaxi and I ran out the door to go to Johnny's end of the school year party. After the party I still needed to eat lunch. So my Dad was out east so I met up with him to eat lunch at 3:30 this afternoon!!! It was nice to catch up with him and have the boys visit with him! I haven't seen him in over a week and I normally only have Jax with me since Johnny is in school. So it was nice to have Johnny and Jaxi with me to see him! After lunch I had to go grocery shopping. Then finally home for dinner. Before I got dinner done Kev came home with some furniture from his mom's house. We have pretty much sold everything so we have been watching tv on the floor the past few nights- sooo not comfortable. So she gave us a couch to use. She wants us to keep it but that is not going to happen... Once we move we will have no where to put it. Anyways.... I am whooped did I mention that!?!??! Thank goodness tomorrow is a new day! I am ready to do nothing!!! I am sure that won't happen but I am going to try!!! ;)

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! I think things are getting closer to being done!!! Finally I am sooo seeing that light!!!! I have had a week from hell! I have been up to my eyeballs in boys/house/family/school/friends/baseball activities! Most have been great but the hard has been hard and overwhelming!!!! I am telling you yesterday I think I reach a level of stressed out I didn't even know existed in me! I was suppose to be at a luncheon with all the Mom's of Johnny's class. Well Jaxi wasn't in the mood for it! Well I had been running around all morning getting everything ready for the day and getting stuff together for the house. Plus making sure Johnny was ready and fed before school!! Thank goodness school starts at 12:15!!! Anywooo!! By the time I got to lunch I was whooped! Jaxi was not in the best of moods, he was just screaming at Kay's restaurant causing all kinds of scenes. And I just lost it. I just couldn't take it anymore!!! I just broke down and balled my eyes out in the parking lot!!! While my friends were eating lunch I was down at the aquarium keeping Jax entertained. I finally went up to the girls and said I was leaving. They were soo understanding and were just happy it wasn't them dealing with a screaming 2 year old child!! Before I left I had a awesome meal packed and ready for me to eat at home! On the way I home I couldn't get a hold of myself the tears were just a flowing!!! I was sooo overwhelmed with everything that has been going on lately- just life, just my life!!! My life just feels upside down right now! I am soo ready to be settled.
So after eating my yum meal I was feeling better and on top of that I got a package in the mail!!! A PINK laptop arrived!!!! That got my mind off things and I was able to play for a little bit before picking up Johnny from school! After school I went out to the house to pick up some pieces of cabinets to take to Sherman Williams to have some stains matched for our desk. And I was sooo pleased to see a crew of men working on the house!!! The painters were still there and they were filling nail holes! For some crazy reason I thought I was going to see some paint on something!!! I would have taken any color at that point but instead I was just happy to see them working on the house filling the nail holes!!!

After the house we had a play-date at Michelle's. Her boys got a new play set so my boys were soo excited to play outside. (something we can't do at the cheerio in fear of getting hit by cars and who knows what else- a bullet lol) We were there for a couple of hours and then I was off to go home and make dinner, give baths and put the boys to bed!!! As soon as they were down I jumped in the shower and I crawled in bed at 8:30 and I was out until 8:30 this morning!!!
I've been cleaning and packing all morning! It feels good to pack my stuff up because I know I will be unpacking and throwing these boxes away very soon!!!! That my friends is a good feeling!

We've been a little busy...

Just to fill you in on what has been happening with the Crook's! It's been kinda busy! But good busy! It's the end of the school year and Johnny is definitely keeping me busy with all his year- end activities!! I love it though!!! Only 9 more days and we are out and onto vacation Bible school and swim lessons and the baseball games start!!!
The house is really starting to come together! The painters will be here Saturday! Woohooo!!! I can't wait!!! I did update some pictures of the kitchen/office/stair case and yes CEMENT!!!! I can not tell you how happy I was to get our cement!!!
Johnny is doing great at t-ball his first game is at the end of this month! He is meeting a lot of new friends and loving to learn the game!! Today he had a play-date with one of his buddies from t-ball. It was soo beautiful outside so we were able to play outside all day!!! We haven't been able to do that unless we go to the park! So it was nice to sit and watch the boys run around and play!!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

WOWOW!!! What a great day!!! I got to sleep in and eat french toast this morning!!!! The boys greeted me with wonderful PINK & Leopard gifts!!! And Johnny made me a beautiful card with a special poem!! We went out for Knolla's for lunch! Only the BEST pizza in town!!!! And then Kevin's mom came over for a bit. After she left Johnny and I baked a cake together! It was a little messy but he had fun! Kevin then grilled our dinner and we all ate together and finished off the night with our cake!!! A perfect way to end our perfect day!!!

I hope everyone else's day was just as special!!! To be a Momma is the best gift God could ever give us!

A Birthday Gift For Johnny's Teacher!!!

Bubbles!

Today we went to the park after school! Johnny got some mega bubbles the other day and it has been raining so he has been dying to go out and blow them!!! Sooo that is what we did today! Grandpa met us at the park and did some swinging with the boys. I followed Jaxi all around. He was climbing up on the big slide and we would slide down this enclosed slide. It freaked me out but he loved it!!! He even started going down it by himself!! I am telling you this kid has NO FEAR!!! A little scary! We had a ton of fun and it couldn't have been a more gorgeous day for the park!!!

Where has the past couple of days gone???

I have been busy around here, hardly home during the day except for a couple of hours while Johnny is in school. Today was the last day of Bible Study until the Fall. It was a really great experience and I met some wonderful women. It was great to meet some of the Mom's and kids that Johnny will be going to school with next year.
The house is actually the thing that is keeping me busy right now. All the little details are becoming important!!! Kev has pretty much said the house is yours take care of it. This is great but a little overwhelming at times! I am super excited my new cabinets for the kitchen came in and they are fully up!!! Chad our carpenter was putting the crown on this morning to finish them off! They are gorgeous!!! I am sooo happy I had some encouragement to stand up and say something about them being the wrong color!!! The kitchen feels soo much bigger and brighter with the lighter!! I want to wait until the crown is completely done before I take pictures!!! It is soo hard not to take pictures everyday because there is something new in the house!!!
My drive way was poured and the entrances to the circle drive were poured!!! Sooo happy with them! Okay I could go on and on and bore you with all the details so I will stop!!!

Johnny had BB practice last night and after practice he got his uniform and schedule of games!!! We were a little surprised when they handed us the A's uniform. We were told we were going to be the Padre's. Oh well, just good thing we didn't buy the cleats with the Padres logo on them!! lol!!! He is number 24!!! Kev's old number!! His games start at the end of the month and he has a game like every week sometimes twice a week until the middle of July!!! Some of his games don't even start until 8pm at night!!! umm that is his bedtime!! I am sure that his bed time will change in the summer but I was cracking up because I was like this is T-ball!!! :)~

Well it is cookie night so the boys are standing around the island devouring the cookies so I better go before there are none... Happy Wednesday!!

it's been another a busy day!!!

But I did have some time yesterday to get a layout done of Jaxi and his rain boots!!!

I've been working on my deck today!!! I am soo excited with the products we have gotten!!! I am doing a composite deck in chocolate brown (yummy), and black rails with these center pieces throughout the deck. We are also bumping out the deck an extra 12feet so we have room for a table and chairs!!! I can't wait for it to start!!! Our carpenter is doing the deck for us and he has done an amazing job so I know it is going to be gorgeous!!! We are also adding a privacy shutter to the north so that our neighbors can't watch us do our business on the deck whatever that business might be ;).... As soon as the house gets cleaned out from the carpenter I will update with some pictures!!! Anyways things are kinda trucking along and I was just told that the painter might take 2 months to paint the inside of the house OMG!!!!! Are you kidding me?!?!?!! I hope I am in my by anniversary!!! That light that I saw at the end of the tunnel is slowly flickering away...lol!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. Kevin is in a golf tourney this whole weekend so I am hanging with the boys!! Who knows what we will do!!! I hope you all have a good one!! toodles!
